Insta360 Opens First Flagship Store Outside Asia as It Passes 10 Million Cameras Sold

Chinese 360-degree and action camera maker Insta360 has opened its first flagship store outside Asia, in a prominent Broadway location in New York's Times Square, on Friday, September 19, 2026. The opening coincided with the company announcing it has surpassed 10 million cameras sold worldwide since its founding.

The launch drew a large crowd, with more than a thousand people lining up before the doors opened at noon. Insta360 rewarded the first customer in line — who had been waiting since 2:30 a.m. — with a unique, gold-engraved Insta360 Luna Ultra camera. According to research firm IDC, Insta360 leads the global 360-degree camera market with a shipment share of nearly 70% in the first quarter of this year.
